I found a virus on my computer. The only way to remove it
is so run NAV in safe mode. I started computer and tapped
F8--it didn't respond. I have done this before on a
different computer so I know that I am doing it right--but
for some reason, it isn't responding.

Is there any other way to run comptuer in SAFE mode??

I am running Win2000.

Thanks!
Meg

Press F8 repeatedly, many times, during the early boot stage.
If this does not help then you may have to install your disk
as a slave disk in some other Win2000 PC and repair it
there. Your friendly computer dealer might offer this type
of service.

Some computers, notably HP Pavilions want you to hit the Ctrl key. Try that.
