Can't start in safe mode

My PC with Win2k pro got infected with the very nasty Adware.VirtuMonde, and
my "mighty" Norton Internet Security can't get rid of it. It was suggested
to try starting in Safe Mode and then scan the whole PC. But I always got
blue screen after pressing F8. Please help. Thanks.

Could you please move over to the left a little bit. You're blocking
the monitor and we can't read what's in the error message.

Here's the error in blue screen:

Just try repairing the OS from Bootable Disk

Else try booting from Cd and then entering in to safe mode.
