Can't send pictures from "My Pictures"

Like so many others, since I installed SP2, I am unable to send photos from
My Pictures. I use Yahoo Mail. I do get the resize screen for the photos,
but then a pop up screen with Choose Profile comes up with Corel 8 Settings
in a selection box. No matter what I try to do with that Choose Profile
screen, the email with photo fails. Any suggestons on this one. I did try
the go to start, run, and typed
regsvr32 shimgvw.dll - that did not correct the problem for me.

Have you tried the facility XP offers by right clicking the picture and
selecting send mail. Automatically a window appears which allows you to
automatically reduce the size for sending by email and then an email message
appears with the photographs attached. Really good facility!

Choose Yahoo as the default mail client in Internet Options Programs tab.
Note that you'll need to install the plugin from Yahoo! (ymmapi.dll).

Is there anyway to get rid of the choose profile screen?

I get the resize screen with the right click method and then the Choose
profile comes up again and the process ends. I am in an area where
sssssssssslow dial up service is my only option. It is taking 5 min. to
attach a photo without the resizing, so very frustrating to not have this
ability since SP2! How do I install the plugin from Yahoo?

Did this and I'm still getting the profile screen. If I click OK I get the
message
The MAPI Spooler can not be started close and then restart all mail enabled
applications. Am I doomed?

This happens if Microsoft Outlook is still acting as the default mail
client. Download my utility DefaultMail and click the button "Clear per-user
settings......." button http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/defaultmail.htm. If
you want to undo the changes, you'll have to create a System Restore point
first. Then, choose Yahoo! as the default mailer again via Internet Options.

Another option is to choose Yahoo! as the default mail client for your user
profile (from the "DefaultMail" utility's list box)
