Can't send pics through Outlook Express

Hi

My neighbour asked me if I could help with a problem but it's defeated me.
She can't call her email program from the "My Pictures" folder. When she
highlights the picture and clicks "E-mail this file" the 'resize picture' box
appears and when she selects 'make smaller' and clicks "ok" it completes the
resize but doesn't open a new email. Initially, she got an error message
stating that OE might not be her default client or that the program was
unable to deal with her request. I changed the setting in OE to make it her
default email client but now the same thing happens, except there is no error
message at all!

Also, I've just noticed that the same thing happens on my own pc when I
select the 'send by email' option in Microsoft Works (ie nothing happens)
although I can send pictures and files by OE from their respective folders
without any problem.

Can you help?

Helen

Note: To protect against computer viruses, e-mail programs may prevent
sending or receiving certain types of file attachments. Check your e-mail
security settings to determine how attachments are handled.
