Can't Send Messages

I was fine a week ago, now all of a sudden it takes forever to send or
receive my messages. I am using yahoo for my POP3 server.I use 995 for the
incoming server port with - requires SSL Authentication checked and 587 for
the out going server with none for the encryption type.

Tell me why all of a sudden this acting up? I also have Kapersky Anti-Virus
internet software. HOwever, I don't have it scanning my outgoing and incoming
mail.

It's hard to say . . . but I would start by running a virus scan on your
computer as well as a general malware (adware) scan to make sure something
else isn't using your bandwith. Also, how does your general internet
browsing compare? Has it slowed down as well? If so, I would check your
internet connection. If not, I would check the yahoo site to make sure that
your account is setup in Outlook the way it's supposed to be (currently).
