Cant send mail--need help

I have a new laptop and trying to set up my yahoo mail account on to Windows
Mail. I can recieve mail but I can not send it. I was told to download YPOP
so I did and it keeps giving me this error message:

An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'jjhggh', Account: 'Windows Mail',
Server: 'localhost', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '554 Cannot send
attachments.', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 554, Error Number:
0x800CCC6F

Plus it shows me another message saying--

Yahoo Bad Request Error.

What did I do wrong?

US-based free Yahoo accounts have webmail access only, no POP
access. Windows Mail does not handle Yahoo webmail.
There are three possible solutions:

1. How did you access Yahoo mail before? If you are happy with
webmail via your browser, you can continue to use that.

2. Pay Yahoo to get their premium "Mail Plus" service:

and use the special settings for that service:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/mailplus/pop/pop-14.html

3. Another option is called YPOPs. It is free, but requires some technical
knowledge to implement:
