I'm using Windows Mail to access my school e-mail account.

I can receive messages when I'm at home, but I can't send any messages.
Every time I try to, I get this error message:

An unknown error has occurred. Subject '', Account: 'imap.smu.edu.sg',
Server: 'smtp.smu.edu.sg', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '554
<cm105.gamma165.maxonline.com.sg[202.156.165.105]>: Client host rejected:
Access denied', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 554, Error Number:
0x800CCC6F

But when I'm in school, and connected to my school's WLAN, I can
receive/send messages.

Is there any way I can send out messages when I'm home as well?

You need to set your smtp (outgoing) mail server to whatever ISP you have at
home most likely.

As the error message indicates, the SMU.edu SMTP server is not
allowing a connection from your home ISP, MaxOnline.

As JCS already advised you, you need to send with your home ISP's
SMTP server while at home.
