can't send from outlook 2007 after upgrading pst file

Hey Community

my boss recently had some problems with his Outlook, his pst file
had reached the magical 1.82 gb file size.
Unaware of that limit, my boss installed the outlook 2007 beta, (not the
B2TR), thinking it might solve his problem.

After some googling, we "changed" his old pst file to the new format that
supports more than 2 GB, by creating a new pst file in outlook 2007 and then
importing all the items from the old one.

Everything went fine for a while, but now my boss isn't able to SEND
message, receiving them is not a problem.

Setting up his account on my outlook 2007 goes perfectly, no errors
whatsoever.

Any pointers or a solution would be much appreciated!

greetings
Jochen
