Trusted senders are going to Junk mail folders, Outlook 2007

Help! I had to reinstall Win XP pro SP2 and everyting else on my boss's
laptop computer. I had saved his old .pst (Outlook 2003) file and decided to
install Office 2007 Professional. I configured Outlook 2007 then copied back
his old .pst file and all was well, for a short while. He has started to
rebuild his junk mail and safe sender lists by senders and domains (we have
been getting a lot of junk mail and it was driving all of us crazy). I did
the exact same thing for my computer and there has been no problems.

Now the problem: No my boss has trusted senders being moved to his junk mail
folder. He also gets two or three copies of some messages in his inbox (or
Junk mail) folder. I tried repairing and compacting his .pst file, repairing
the Outlook installation, and then finally uninstalled Outlook and
reinstalled, all to no avial.

Is there anyway to fix this? Can we clean out his Junk-mail filter and go
back to default settings (he does not want to loose all of his data or the
names in his lists, he just wants them to work properly).

Hi,
I am having a similar problem, but it is with the rules I have created to
stop spam/junk. I have created several rules and have gone back over and over
them, but don't see where or what I am missing. I created a rule that said If
I receive anything in message header or Subject line that had sexual
references, etc. [ you know the 4-ltr words](was supposed to filter out any
porn spam), then it should put that message into deleted items. Many came
with "RE:" or "Re:" in subject line. I added RE as keywords in subject to
recognize and delete. Now, anything and everything - it doesn't matter from
who or where, whether they are on my "Safe senders" list, or on safe domains
list, whether I make another rule allowing ALL "Re:" in subject line or
anywhere "re" appears in the body in any word - it all goes to "deleted
items" now. I even tried erasing all the rules and making new ('positive')
ones like "When Re shows up (from anyone, anytime or in any word in the body
of messg), to send that message to the Inbox. Nothing has worked - Anyone
have suggestions? Same problems?
