can't send email

Can anyone help me? When I send email from Outlook 2000,
it goes into the Sent Mail folder after I hit
Send/Receive, but the emails are not being received by
anyone I'm sending them to, including my own accounts. I
am receiving email fine. The outgoing and incoming mail
servers are set accurately in Properties.

Are u using Exchange or pop3 account. if you are using
exchange 2k pl check the server queue whether u r mails
r present or not. might be problem with name resolution
check for that.
