Can't see Win98 pc from XP Pro pc

Network: WinXP Pro to MS Wired Base Station (MN-100).
Win98 to MN-100. MN-100 to cable modem. Print server
from printer to MN-100. Can share WinXP folders, etc. on
98 pc (Can see name of XP pc on My Network
Places on 98 pc). **Can't see name of 98 pc when on
XP pc**. (Can print from both pc's. Can access internet
from both pc's.)

Did from XP pc: Start,Run,cmd,ping x.x.x.x (address of 98
pc) >>everything ok. Did from XP pc: start,run,cmd,ping
computername (name of 98 pc) >>everything ok. Did from XP
pc: start,run,cmd,net user guest >>everything ok.

Did from both pc's: start,run,\\computername >>ok from 98
pc>> get "the network path was not found" when using 98
name from XP pc.

Please help,
