I can't see Windows XP PC from W98 PC

Hi there!
I have a home network between two PCs: one of them run Windows XP SP2 (host
name: ASIA) and the other one has Windows 98 Second Edition (host name:
EUROPA). (PC with Windows XP share printer and dial up connection.)

The problem is that sometimes I don't see ASIA PC from "Network" icon in
EUROPA PC.
(Anyway I find ASIA from "Search PC" in EUROPA.)

Anybody has an idea?

Thanks, in advance.

First, check for misconfigured / overlooked firewalls, and for registry setting
restrictanonymous.

Next, read about the browser, and why Windows 9x and NT systems (in your case,
Windows 98 and XP) can have problems on the LAN together.
