Can't see small x-parent gif in FP 2003.

using FP2003, unpatched.

I have some small gif files - basically a black dot on a
transparent background. Size is 5px x 11px.

In FP2003 in design view I only see the outline of the gif, there's
no black dot. It looks fine in preview mode. It looks OK in FP2002.

Any idea why won't it display properly in design view ?

I expect is is so you can see the image to move it around etc in design mode - if
it looks OK in view mode, well that's the important thing. Also you might want
to right click on the image, and check for an option an option to do with "border
thickness" - make sure it is set at zero (0) for no border (if this is what
you're referring to).

Nope... it's not an image border as in '<img border="1">. Front Page
is just messing up the display. However, it may be a "feature" as you
have suggested. Hop[efully someone can tell me how to shut off this
"feature".
