Can't search from address bar

As of 2 weeks ago, I can no longer search from the
address bar. I am always directed to a page (with an
associated pop-up message about hitting a pig, bear or
other moving target)
titled "http://auto.search.msn.com/response.asp?" I have
run AV program with no results, have stayed current on
all patches and show no trojan Qhost. What shall I do?
It's driving me crazy!!!
