Address Bar Search no longer works

I can no longer search from the address bar of internet
explorer 6. Here is an example. In the address bar I
typed: Address bar searching.
http://auto.search.msn.com/response.asp?
MT=address+bar+searching&srch=4&prov=&utf8 was the
result in the address bar and the page says "Sorry, we
couldn't find the URL you were looking for." I have
tried all the Internet Options, Advanced tab and also
customizing the Search options to no avail! Help!
