Cant save pictures from the web AT ALL

I can't save pictures from the web.When i right click the
pic, i save it to My Pictures. When I preview the picture
it opens with Windows Pictures and Fax Viewer and says no
preview available. I've tried openoing it with internet
explorer and it wont work either. The only way i can save
picture is if i copy the pic, paste it in paint, and
save. Thats too much of a drag. By the way, the pictures
i TRY to save are in the JPEG format. Can someone help
me,PLEASE?!
