can't save excel 2002 file

I'm using excel 2002 in a network environment. One user can open and make
changes to a specific .xls file but when other users try to save changes to
that file a msg comes up "DOCUMENT NOT SAVED" . I have checked the properties
for that file and it is not marked as read-only. Does anyone have any clues
as to why this would occur only on this file?

I am having the same problem. I am using Excel 2002 and cannot save an Excel file. It comes up with "Document not saved" and tells me I should upgrade to Office 2007. One user can save the .xls file and another user cannot. I have checked and the file is not read only. Can anyone help?
