I have Win XP Home Ed. I can no longer right click on
the start menu. When I try to do so, all I get is a
flicker. I don't recall changing any settings. Anyone
have a solution???

Right click the Start button itself, select Properties, Customize, Enable dragging and dropping

Don't know if the same is true in your case, but I had the same problem a
couple of months ago and couldn't find out what was wrong ( couldn't right
click on anything). Tried a different mouse and everything worked, so
evidently the mouse was worn out.

I can right click everywhere else, so I don't think that is
the problem. Anyone have any other ideas?

Start - Control Panel - Taskbar And Start Menu - Start Menu - Customise - Advanced
and enable Dran n Drop.
