I have AutoCAD 2000 & 2007 installed ( in 2 different directories).
I used "add & remove" to remove v.2000 & it was removed for the list i
the dialog box, but not from the hard drive.
Can I use 'explore' to delete the directory & not cause a problem

That all depends for uninstalling the v.2000 may be gone, but some
files remnants are still there as shared files for the v.2007. Deleting
the 2000 directory may disable the v.2007 to function properly due
to entries in the Registry.

Thats would I would do. If the folder wont let you delete because some files
may be actively running, then delete the folder in safe mode. Later you can
run a registry cleaner and clean out any orphaned registry entries that have
lost their parent folder.....
