Problem on Control Panel - Add & remove programs

I have just purchased a new PC, had Windows XP Home installed
When I add certain software, AutoCAD 2002, in the Add & Remove Programs screen AutoCAD appears at the top & there is a "huge" gap between it & the rest of my programs
I have restore my computer to the day it was purchased, & everything looked fine. Until I installed AutoCAD, the problem was back
I have another computer with XP Home & I installed AutoCAD on it and the problem does not occur on that one
No one at MS or at my computer shop know why this is or how to fix it
Any ideas on how to solve this problem?
