can't reinstall defender



i turned on my computer and was told that defender couldn't open. help and
support told me to uninstall defender and reinstall it. when i try to install
defender a message pops up at the end saying insufficient privileges to
install defender. what do i do?

What version of Windows?

If you are elsewhere in the world, call the nearest number for paid
Microsoft support, and ask for the free help as above. The phone call may
not be free, but the help will be.
