cant reformat hard drive- PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

I am attempting to reformat my computer. I keep getting this PAGE_FAULT error
everytime i attempt to format my hard drive. I was able to format the drive
yesterday but after completing that i would get the same error while trying
to reinstall XP. Now i am left with a wiped hard drive and unable to install
my OS.

Any help would be great, thanks.
