reformat hard drive

I am hoping to reformat my hard drive. I would like to completely wipe it out so that it is like new and reload XP professional. How do I do this?
 
if you have your own windows xp that is licenced to you
then insert disc into cd rom and follow,reinstall screen
fairly well set out and shoudnt have any probs

The best way is to boot from the installation CD. One of
the early steps is to pick your target partition and you
can format it there.
