cant record cds

i have tried fireburner nero burn4 free i just cant get
this computer to record ..i have used my old pc (win98)
with no problems but this windows xp...cant figured it out
something to do with configurations? ports? errors
everywhere!! HELP

Try disabling XP's built-in burning capabilities first.
