Hello! I hope someone can help me. I can't receive forwared e-mails using
windows mail. when I open the e-mail, the original e-mail isn't there and at
the bottom of the e-mail it says "Note: Forwarded e-mail attached" however
there is no attachement to the e-mail. Please help. Thanks.

What program was it forwarded with? If it was Outlook, you'll have trouble
reading it in Windows Mail.

In Windows Mail, click on Tools, then Options, then Read. If there is a
check
mark in the box before Read all messages in plain text, click on this box,
then
Apply. Click on OK.

Does this make a paperclip appear at the top right of the message,
indicating
an attachment, even if the attachment doesn't open? If so, click on the
paperclip, read the file name, and tell us the part of the file name
starting
with the last period.

I am using outlook2003 however when I did exactly what you told me to do, it
is working fine. I'm able to view the forwarded e-mail. Thank you very
much!!!

Do you get a paperclip at the top right corner of such a message? If so,
try
clicking on the paperclip, then opening the attachment. Note that if the
attachment's name is winmail.dat, the attachment was probably sent in
Outlook's
RTF format, which Windows Mail can't read.
