I have a strange one. I have a user that can't print a particular email.
when she tries to print it prints a blank page. she's tried to copy and
paste into Word and still the same result. all other emails print fine it's
just from one particular customer that the emails just won't print. she can
forward the email to another user and that person can print the email. what
the heck is going on????

she's on XP Pro with SP2 and Outlook 2003 with SP2.

we've checked format settings, tried regsvr32 ole32.dll, tried from File >
print and I can't figure this thing out. anybody got any ideas??

thanks

Just a few things that might help narrow this down:

Is the email using a particular font?
Does anything at all print out? eg - does it print the headers, but
the body is blank?
Does it show up correctly in a print preview?
If she forwards the email to somebody else, and then they forward it
back to her - can she print it then?
Does the person she forwards it to use the same printer and print
driver as her?

doesn't appear the email is using a strange or particular font.
The header does print but the body of the email does not.
It does show up correctly in the print preview.
same print drivers.
one thing I did find out is the emails are from a request off of a web page.
they're web site generated emails. a volunteer requests info on the web
page and an email is generated to my end user.

D,

Try copying and pasting in to Notepad rather than Word. I'm wondering (but
don't know) if the font used in the email doesn't exist in Word, then maybe
that's why it won't paste.

Notepad should treat everything as plain text.
