can't post on message boards

Hi everyone. I'm really not expecting to be able to post
on this board either. But, just in case it works, I have
tried posting on several different message boards and none
of them will post. Some of them just hang up or I get the
message "can't find server". I go back and check to make
sure it didn't post and I'm correct. Does anyone have any
ideas? And, if this post does work, can someone explain
why this one works but the others don't? Thanks for your
time. Kathy

You're post worked here just fine. Sounds like the other newsgroup server is
having problems. Or your ISP's news server is having probs.

Ya, what's your point. That's why it worked. If they are having trouble
posting to other boards doesn't matter if it web based or not........ sounds
like the news server they're trying to post on is down. MS groups have their
own servers. Most others get mirrored thru the users isp. If it's webbased
then possible the web based server for that news group is down. The ms ones
are up, hence posting here works. I guess the op needs to clarify if the
trouble groups were ms groups or not.
