Can't open outlook

Jack

I keep getting an error message everytime I try to open
my Outlook Express: "OUTLOOK COULD NOT BE STARTED. THE
APPLICATION WAS UNABLE TO CREATE THE INTERNET ACCOUNT
MANAGER. YOUR COMPUTER MAY BE OUT OF MEMORY OR YOUR DISK
IS FULL. CONTACT MICROSOFT SUPPORT FOR FURTHER ASSISTANCE
(0X800705AA). And after: OUTLOOK EXPRESS COULD NOT BE
STARTED BECAUSE MSOE.DLL COULD NOT BE INITIALIZED.
OUTLOOK EXPRESS MAY NOT BE INSTALLED CORRECTLY."
I do not have a full disk, is quiet empty.Once in a
while I use the RESTORE to go back and open my e-mails,
but then It keeps happening over and over again. I can't
fix it. Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi Jack,

You mention both Outlook and Outlook Express, worlds of difference. For the
latter:

Set Outlook Express as default mail client - Start/Run and type in:
MSIMN.EXE /REG

Then:

Run this edit:

Enable Reinstallation of Internet Explorer or OE (Line 114)
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Once done:

Re-install Outlook Express - Click Start, Run and enter %SystemRoot%\Inf.
Locate the MSOE50.INF file. Right click it and select Install.

I would advise you to get your terminology straight if you want decent
help. You call this program both Outlook and Outlook Express. It
can't be both. The only thing the two programs really share is the
name Outlook in the title.

I would also advise you to ask in a group that has something to do
with the program in question, ie a group with either OUTLOOK, or
OUTLOOK EXPRESS/OE in the title.
