Can't open any webpages

I have a cable internet connection so I'm always online.
But somehow I must have changed a setting or something but
now everytime I try to open a webpage, it says it can't be
found. I know my internet is still working because I can
still talk to people on MSN instant messenger. But other
than that my internet won't work. can somebody help me?
 
Which browser are you using? Have you tried more than one
page? Are there any other computers using the same modem as
yours (i.e. on a network or something)?
