Hi - since I started using MSOffice 2003 my excel program does not work
properly. I cannot directly open any of my excel documents unless I first
open a new workbook and then open the excel doc.

When I do try to open an error message: can't find the file you are looking
for

Try looking at Tools>Options>General>Ignore other applications (Should be
un-checked)

Thank you so much, I have been working on this for 2 days and it was a click
away. Unbeliveable it worked. thank you! thank you! I was planning on taking
my computer to the geek squad and this would have cost me a lot of money to
get this fixed. I love you!!!!!

Hi Nick

Thanks it worked - still gives me the error message though, but after
clicking OK button for about 5 times the xl document opens up.

Thanks for the help - much appreciated
