My daughter is unable to open the www.ttu.edu website.
Even tho we know it is a good address and can access it
on other computers she is unable to do so on hers. She
uses Win98. She says that at one time she was able to
open it (when she was in the dorm). Now she has been
unable to for the last year. Of all websites, this is
the one she really needs for looking up her acct and
classes, etc. Anybody know what we should be looking for?

It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look also for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS, reboot.

If the HOSTS file suggestion works, I would open the file
in Notepad, search for the line with www.ttu.edu in it,
delete that line only, save the file in Notepad, rename
it HOSTS as before, and see if it works.
