Can't make folder "Available Offline"

XP Pro

I'm stumped. I've set my up my machine to use files offline. (I.e.,
Tools|Folder Options, and clicked Enable Offline Files) I've opened up My
Computer. I've clicked on a shared network drive. But Make Available
Offline doesn't appear on the File menu.

What am I doing wrong?

You have to make the folder available offline on the machine where the
shared folder resides.
