Offline tabs not available - can't synchronize files

Tom

I have an xp home dell and want to synchronize with my
dell xp pro workstation at the office. Having followed
every possible way to "make folders available offline"
there simply isn't one:
there is no 'offline' tab in folder view
the right click file menu has no 'make available offline'
option
I've shared the folders, followed every instruction, gone
around and around.
Is this simply not available? Is there some really basic
trick to making the offline files tabs show up?

Thanks for any wisdom you can share!

I'm sorry, but XP Home doesn't have offline files. Only XP
Professional does.

In addition to Steve's advice - I don't like offline files anyway. I use
www.centered.com - SecondCopy - it's a lot better in my view, and it will
work on your OS.
