Can't make "Details" view option stick in "Attach file(s)" window

H

Herb

Windows doesn't appear to remember the "View" setting in the "Attach
file(s)" window for attaching files to e-mail messages, i.e. the "Attach
file(s)" *always* comes up in "List" mode.

It also has trouble remembering the size of the "Attach file(s)" window.

Is there a registry setting or some other solution for making these
parameters stick?

Thank you.

Hi Ramesh,

thanks for the info - I hadn't been aware of it.

I'll certainly try it and I might even buy it, although I am surprised
that there doesn't appear to be a way of making the "Details" view stick
without external software! :-(

Yes. The common dialog box's view style can't be customized, Herb.

Hi Ramesh,

I'm trying File-Ex as we speak, and it's great!

I had been looking for something like this for years, so thanks again
for the info :)
