Can't make a clean instalation of Windows XP

I bought a Gericom laptop few months ago, and got a recovery CD with it. Now
I decided to make a clean instalation of Win XP Home, using that disc. When I
insert the disc, press any key, and the files load, I don't get the options
for recovery console, or to delete existing partitions, but the files start
copying automaticly. So, how can I make a clean Win XP Home instalation using
the Gericom recovery disc that I have?

I would suggest downloading the free 30 day trial version
of Iolo's excellent DriveScrubber and using it:

My Laptop doesn't have a Floppy Drive, so I can't use the DriveScrubber!
Thanks anyway
