Can't look at blocked pop-ups with XPSP2

The information bar comes up ok when pop-ups are blocked. When I want to see
the blocked pop-up, I click the information bar (just like the instructions
say), but I don't get the option to show the blocked pop-up (despite what it
sas in the help file). My only options are:
"Temporarily block pop-ups"
"Always allow pop-ups from this site"
"Settings..."
"Information Bar help"

None of the above allow me to show the blocked pop-up.

Can somebody please help?

BTW, my pop-up blocker setting is at "medium" (default).

If you choose always allow pop-ups from this site:

Couldn't you refresh the screen (F5) or
click the back button and then go forward to the same page
so that it reloadss and this time the blockup should display--
later you can turn off the always allow pop-ups from this site.

Thanks Stephen

I have tried to refresh after allowing pop-ups for that site but some sites
only display pop-ups some times and not others - sometimes I want to look at
the actual pop-up itself. I am mostly frustrated b/c XPSP2 help tells me to
click an option which is not there.

I just installed SP2 today. Am I missing something? Have others
experienced the same problem?

It looks to me like they took out something and didn't reword the
documentation.
I don't see Show Last Popup *** in the actual released SP2 product infobar.
Perhaps the Help file is being rewritten to correct misunderstandings or
claims.

"Windows XP SP2 displays a notification in the Information Bar when a
pop-up window is blocked. The Information Bar lets you use the Pop-up
Blocker functionality, such as replaying the pop-up window, adding the
Web site to an "Allowed sites" list for pop-up windows, or going to
the Pop-up Blocker settings. You can also turn off the Information Bar
for pop-up windows if you decide that the notification is too big for
the pop-up event. The following table lists the text that will appear
in the Information Bar and the actions that you can select from the
menu:

Information Bar Element Display Information Bar Text Pop-up blocked.
To see this pop-up or additional options, click here...
Short Text
Pop-up Blocked

Menu Options
Show Last Pop-up ***

Allow Pop-ups for this Site

Allow Pop-ups

Show Information Bar for Blocked Pop-ups (Checked)

In Windows XP SP2, file download prompts that are launched
automatically appear in the Information Bar."

* Show Blocked Pop-up Window. Reloads the pop-up window.

Pop-up blockers don't capture any pop-up content to Ram or your hard drive,
they are not like cookies, IMO. One can allow pop-ups from the website and
then reload that webpage which will trigger the pop-up being re-transmitted.
You will then not see a past content event, but a recreation of a current
content event.
I don't think the past pop-up event exists because it is never captured or
saved.
Probably they don't take into account the possibility of the pop-up changing
data.
