cant load web pages

I have recently installed Norton Internet security 2005 after about 2 days my
web browser will not load any web pages nor outlook express even though I am
connected to my adsl. I rang my tech support who surgested to deinstall
Norton because they thought that it could be blocking my browsers etc etc.
Even with Norton deinstalled the problem still persists. Can anybody help?

Go to Start/Run, and type: REGSVR32 URLMON.DLL Then open IE, Tools menu, Options, Program Tab, and click the "Reset Web Settings"
button.
