Some web pages load VERY slowly

Recently, some web pages (like cnn.com) are loading VERY slowly on my
computer. (5 minutes) I don't know why. After loading it, I can revisit it
quickly. Only until I actually close the browser. Then I have to wait again
when I try to access it.

I've disabled the MS firewall because I have Norton Internet security.
Tried fooling around with those settings... but no difference.

Its very frusterating. My connection (cable) is otherwise very fast. Its
not the site itself. (Talking with someone on the phone, they accessed it no
problem). This started only this week. (For some reason my system restore
isn't working)

Help!

Hi.....
Try and get the security settings to their defaults (internet properties).
Check if the same sites loads fine with any other browser. If that
works.....upgrade internet explorer to 6 with SP1.(if already done, try
re-installing IE 6).
