Can't keep the Folder Status bar...after installing SP2

Before installing the SP2, user can click the folder's status bar ON, and
apply it on all folders. However after installing the SP2, I cannot keep the
status bar on and need to click on this option evertime.

I am using English WXP professional edition.

Dear Will,

It doesn't work. Is there anyway to change the registry?

For your information, I had update another Trad. Chinese WXP professional to
SP2 and it works very fine.
