Can't install new Hardware

I recently have had some issues with XP - did a complete re-partition and
reinstall. One problem I am having however is that when I plug in my Canon
Powershot camera and try to install the drivers I get a "Date is Invalid"
mesage during installation. I have tried changing the driver.cab file and I
have tried changing secutiry permissions in the registry - nothing has
worked. Except for another total reinstall, does anyone have any ideas?

If the Date/Time is shown correct in the BIOS and OS, check the date/time in
the Powershots configuration/setup. If that is correct already, check
Canons support site for a possible resolution.
