I have a Canon Powershot 410 that I purchased in the spring. Because
I use Photoshop (7.1) a lot I naturally use it to upload & process the
pictures I take and didn't load the massive amount of software that
came with the camera. Everything worked great until recently. I
connect the USB plug from the cameras, Photoshop opens and the pics
upload quickly. I hadn't used the camera for a month or two and after
being away last weekend, I connected the camera and everything was
normal, except the damn pictures took about 30-40 seconds each to
upload. I've changed none of the settings on the camera and have
changed nothing on the computer since the last time I uploaded pics.
I uninstalled Photoshop, re-installed the program...same result. I
contacted Adobe and there didn't appear to be anything in the program
that would cause this. Is there anything in WinXP that would be
playing a part in this slowdown? I'm using USB 2 and double checked
all of the connections.
