Can't install from CD

Vista wont let me install from ANY cd. Everytime I try to it gives me
"Invalid F:\ Drive" and makes me cancel the installation. Everything starts
normal and I go through the entire setup and then when it starts to install
it tells me the F Drive is invalid. My cd drive is E, I do have a mapped
network drive, F, but I'm not trying to install to it or involving it in the
installation at all. Anyone know what's going on?

First, there may be a drive letter conflict. Go into manage (Rt click My
Computer), then disk management. See if the CD is E and the other is F.

Maybe the CDRom drive is bad, or the jumper is wrong. Borrow an old CDrom
from someone and test it in your system.
