can't install BCM

I'm trying to install my BCM 2007 but I get the following error message.

Hi LT,

Looks like you have a previous SQL installed on your box.
Restart the machine and re-install BCM. If that does not work,
Can you try uninstalling SQL if you can, and retry this scenario?

I get the following error : Then it tells me it has a setup error, and has me
look for
"MBSsetuptmpEE4D.log", of which this file doesn't exist. Anyone have any
ideas?
