Cant get windows xp theme

My windows xp theme will not work. when i go to
properties and then to appearance, the only option i have
is windows classic. and when i pick windows xp under
theme it just changes my back ground to the green grass
and blue sky picture. anyone know how to get my windows
xp theme back?
