Can't get taskbar to one line

My boss is in another city and has made his taskbar 2
lines (or 3 or a thin line) but can't get the touch right
to make it just 1 line.

Is there any other way besides dragging the double-headed
vertical arrow to size the taskbar??

First, unlock the Taskbar (right-click on taskbar, uncheck
"Lock the Taskbar")

Click and drag the separator bar over to the right of the taskbar.
It's the separator that looks like four dots and then three dots
running side by side vertically. It seems to allow you do a double-
decker effect with the taskbar. Once you drag the lower one to
the right of the taskbar, it allows you to resize the taskbar.

The separator bar won't move. I was hoping there would
be somewhere (perhaps in the registry) that I could
actually tell Windows that I only want 1 line of the
taskbar. I just feel like my boss is being to shaky with
his mouse movement and can't get it to stay on 1 line!

But thanks for responding!

Can you do a remote desktop with him, and fix it yourself.
If you are both running XP, this should work.
