ok, so my computer was acting all loopy and shit, so i put in my windows XP
cd into the drive and went through a bunch of steps where i had to install
it, and i did the "UPGRADE" selection instead of normal, so that goes by and
when i start my computer again, no internet connection, i plug in my wireless
card....nothing, so i plug in the network cable from my PC to see
and...nothing, i did the CMD thing and when i tpyed ipconfig, it says media
not connected. and if i go to search for wireless connections it says there
are none, yet the laptop two feet away from me runs of my homes wireless
signal.... help

What does Device Manager say. Installing the drivers for both the wired and
wireless NICs would probably help.

went to device manager and checked out the network adapters section and there
were three objects under it "1394 Net Adapter", "Broadcom 440x 10/100
Integrated Controller", and "RoamAbout 802.11 DS (Cabletron)" and I checked
all these out and they seem to be working fine, anyone know what the deal is?
