Can't Forward Email

This is a strange one.

If i send an Email to a known address in my contact list from Outlook 2003
on a SBS 2003 network the email works fine.

If I create a rule to pick incoming mail with a words in the subject line
and then forward it to the contact as above it will not work

I cannot get incoming mail to forward to an outside email address

Is there a rule or what that is stopping me

Your Exchange server probably is configured to not allow automatic forwards
to the Internet. Check the SMTP Virtual Server on your SBS 2003 box.
