Can't find 'Language Bar'

I have speech installed but cannot get the language bar to appear. KB825033
says SP2 will correct - doesn't. KB555249 says to correct grayed out
'Language Bar' under Text Services/Settings (this is my problem) go to 16
bit display - doesn't work. KB 811113 lists fixes in SP2, however only
reference is 819783 re: turning bar back on after turning it off. I can't
get it turned on to begin with.

I would appreciate any help.

Hi Dave,
Does right click on the Taskbar and select Tolbars >> Select Language Bar
does this bring it back or you don't have it at all?.

Thanks 'nass' for the reply -

When I right click on the Taskbar, "Language" is listed, but it doesn't do
anything when I click on it. Also, it doesn't display a check mark after
being clicked. Hope this tells you something - I'm getting frantic. :)
