cant find excel

after rebooting my computer after christmas i couldnt
find microsoft excel can any one give me some advice on
this matter please is it just a case of down loading it
or wot

Did you have Excel on your computer before Christmas?

If so, it should still be there. Why do you think you can't find it? It
might be that the shortcut to open is corrupt. What happens when you
double-click on a *.xls file?

Did you do a search for "excel.exe"(no quotes).

Did you re-format the computer? If so, you will need to re-install Excel or
Office suite, neither of which is downloadable. You must buy the product and
install from CD.
