Can't find driver!

Having just installed a new scanner on my computer (scanner+SCSI host
adapter).

Although Windows detected the new SCSI adapter but it could not locate a
driver
for it.

How do I view this new hardware?

How will I know which device to configure?

How do I update the driver for the SCSI host adapter?

What make of scanner is it? Try the manufacturer's web site for updated
drivers.

It's a Canon CanoScan flatbed scanner, BUT I still don't know how to:

View this new hardware?

How will I know which device to configure? (will this be obvious from a list
of devices?) and ....
